Dukh Nu Osad Dahada

"દુઃખ  નું ઓસળ દહાળા "

Translation:
Dukh means Pain, suffering.  Osad is classic term used for "Remedy" in Ayurvedic Medicine.. However, it is used in spiritual form in this kehwat.
Dahada means days, but here it contextual with feel of time.

Meaning:

The best remedy for someone's pain or grievance is the time. As time passes, your suffering  shall decrease and you'll heal.

DUKAL MA ADHIK MAAS

દુકાળ માં અધિક માસ


Background:
    Indian Calendar is Lunar based, and hence accomodates one extra month every four years, to add the surplus days in moon monthly cycles.
This month is called "Aadhik", means extra or additional.
Dukaal is  drought condition of land, when it does not rain for Longer periods time. Food and resources are scarced and sitution is already difficult during this time.

Meaning:
This is wonderful Gujarati kehwat states the prolonged pain of any matter, like
it is painful to have an extra "adhik" month when there is already unbearable drought conditons around.

Translated meaning:

Without Asking, even the Mother won't serve the food.

Meaning:
Ask for it..only then you'll get it. Be shy, and you won't get it, whatever it is.





Chakli Nani Ne faidako Moto

ચકલી નાની ને ફૈડકો મોટો..

Meaning:
Don't go on someone's small strature or petit structure. They will have bigger splash.

Another meaning: Person is small, but may have big size style/ego/show.

Literal meaning: Smaller is the sparrow, but it's flurr is big.
